Steampunk fun
So I have only gotten through one day of the photos from the Steampunk World’s Fair – but oh WOW was it a fun day! Kyle Cassidy, a well known steampunk photographer, ran a workshop allowing us to use a studio setup and take pictures of other Fair goers. I have Sunday’s photos in two sets, sepia (really just a warm black and white, I didn’t take it to full sepia) and regular colors. Click the examples below for the full sets on flickr!
Special thanks to Kyle and the wonderful models in our workshop!
Stay tuned for Saturday’s photos, though I have to admit they aren’t this exciting… 😀 Oh wait, there was a flaming sword fight….
Colorful Spring
My tax return often has been used to upgrade my photo equipment, and I upgraded two lenses this spring! I am looking forward to good times with these new additions.
Let the hijinks ensue!
Welcome!
Hi there!
Thanks for stopping by. This blog is still under serious construction – after all, Katie Gould does not quite exist yet! My name is Katie, but my last name won’t be Gould until October 1, 2010 when I marry the love of my life.
I’m slowly working on the transition of taking my photography from a hobby to a more professional level, and I invite you to come grow with me!
I’ll be building my main portfolio with images old and new that best represent my work so far. You can check out my current flickr account, which will still be running, but keep in mind that many of those photos are candids, taken with older cameras (or unique “toy” film cameras!) or taken while enjoying a cocktail or two.
If you have any interest in teaming up to create something with me, please check out the pages on this site for more information. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon!
